Motor Instruction Guide

2025-08-21
This guide focuses on key information on motor use. The overall content is intended to guide users to use motors correctly and safely, reduce the occurrence of failures, and ensure stable operation of motors.
1. General Parameters
  1. Motor Maximum RPM : The maximum speed of the motor must be determined based on its own maximum speed and the maximum speed required by the user. The given speed must not exceed the maximum speed of the motor to ensure normal operation of the motor and avoid damage due to overspeed .
  1. Motor maximum current : This refers to the maximum peak current of the motor. This current must not exceed the maximum current specified for the motor model. Otherwise, it may damage the internal components of the motor and affect the service life of the motor .
  1. Motor movement direction : The forward and reverse direction switching of the motor movement is completely synchronized and has no difference. It can accurately respond to the direction control command and ensure the stability of the equipment operation .
  1. Sensor type : Hall sensor is used to accurately detect the operating status of the motor and provide a reliable basis for motor control .
2. Installation Instructions
  1. Be sure to follow the wiring diagram on the controller to correctly connect the motor to the controller and power supply, ensuring that the wiring is firm and accurate to avoid malfunction or damage to the motor due to incorrect wiring .
  1. When installing the tire outside the outer rotor hub, ensure that it is installed in place to prevent the tire from loosening and affecting the running balance of the motor .
  1. When the power cord passes through metal parts, non-metallic products should be used to protect the power cord to prevent the metal parts from wearing away the insulation layer of the power cord and causing safety hazards such as leakage .
  1. Special note: When the driver powers on the motor, if the motor does not move, freezes, or heats up abnormally quickly, you must turn off the power within three seconds and adjust the electrical angle or drive output to prevent motor failure .
3. Common faults and troubleshooting
  1. Sometimes it turns on and sometimes it doesn't : This is likely because the power cord is not installed securely. The solution is to reconnect the power cord and ensure that it is tightly and securely connected .
  1. Abnormal sound : If the motor makes abnormal sound when running, it is usually because the Hall element is damaged. In this case, the Hall element needs to be replaced to restore the normal operation of the motor .
